Job Description:

Cure Staffing is seeking a skilled Sonographer/Ultrasound Technologist specializing in abdominal and OB/Gyn imaging for a contract position at Community Hospital in Syracuse, NY. This role involves operating advanced sonographic equipment to perform diagnostic imaging, managing daily lab operations, and collaborating with radiologists to communicate findings. Candidates must hold RDMS certification, have at least one year of experience, and be available for evening shifts with rotating weekends, holidays, and on-call duties.

Contract Details:

– Start Date: April 14, 2025

– End Date: July 14, 2025

– Location: Syracuse, NY 13215

– Shift: Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM; rotating weekends, holidays, and on-call duties

– Weekly Pay: $2600 ( MI&L included )

Qualifications:

– Education: Graduate of an ultrasound program accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and the United States Department of Education (USDOE), with specialization in diagnostic medical sonography

– Certification: RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) in Abdominal & OB/Gyn

– Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a relevant role

– Health Clearance: Successful completion of pre-employment health screening

Key Responsibilities:

– Operate sonographic equipment independently to perform diagnostic imaging procedures

– Conduct diagnostic examinations and effectively communicate results using sonography technology

– Manage daily operations of the sonographic laboratory, including patient scheduling, equipment maintenance, and quality assurance (Q/A) tasks

– Utilize independent judgment to differentiate between normal and pathological findings during imaging exams

– Collect and document relevant medical histories for patients prior to examinations

– Collaborate with radiologists to communicate findings clearly and accurately
