Job Description

Cure Staffing Inc. is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their team from August 4 to November 2. The hospital is a Level I Trauma Center with multiple specialized units including a Certified Burn Center, Accredited Stroke and Chest Pain Centers, various ICUs, and surgical departments. The LPN will provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.

Contract Details

• • • Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
    • Location:  Syracuse, NY 13210
    • Contract Duration: August 4, 2025 – November 2, 2025
    • Shift: Days, 5 shifts per week, 8 hours each
    • Pay: $1,800 Weekly (MI&L included)

Qualifications

• • • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential required
    • Minimum of one (1) year relevant nursing experience preferred
    • Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance

Skills and Requirements

• • • Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
    • Excellent patient care and communication skills
    • Ability to work efficiently within a multidisciplinary team
    • Familiarity with hospital protocols and patient safety standards
    • Ability to adapt to various units such as Med/Surg, ICU, Step Down, Psych, and OR settings

Duties and Responsibilities

• • • Provide direct nursing care to patients in assigned units, adhering to hospital policies and standards
    • Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team promptly
    • Assist with daily patient care activities including medication administration, wound care, and vital signs monitoring
    • Collaborate with registered nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information and care provided
    • Support the operation of specialized units such as trauma, burn, stroke, and surgical departments as needed
    • Participate in maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
