Cure Staffing Inc. is seeking an experienced Pediatric OR Registered Nurse for a temporary assignment at our 750-bed academic medical center.

Contract Details:

• – Start Date: ASAP
• – End Date: July 30, 2025
• – Location: Syracuse, NY 13210
• – 17 week contract
• – Shifts: Day/Evening Position
• – 4 (12-hour shifts): 07:00-19:30 or 11:00-23:30
• – 4 (8-hour shifts) per two-week pay period: 07:00-15:30, 11:00-19:30, or 15:00-23:30
• – 80 hours biweekly
• – Every third weekend as part of the scheduled shifts
• – Weekly Pay: $2720 (MI&L included)

Key Responsibilities:

• – Perform scrub nurse duties in pediatric operating room
• – Assist in various pediatric surgical procedures including general surgery, orthopedics, trauma, neurosurgery, and robotics
• – Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and hospital efficiency
• – Ensure proper preparation and maintenance of the operating room environment
• – Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control procedures

Requirements:

• – Current New York State RN License
• – BLS Certification (must be able to recertify if needed)
• – Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Pediatric OR within the past 3 years
• – Experience in general surgery, orthopedics, trauma, neurosurgery, and robotics
• – Ability to scrub in surgical procedures
• – Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• – Experience in Level I Trauma Centers
• – Familiarity with pediatric-specific surgical equipment and procedures

Additional Requirements:

• – Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• – Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance
• – Clean professional license history (no suspensions or investigations)
• – No prior involvement as a defendant in professional liability claims
• – Ability to pass drug screening and criminal background check
