Job Description

Cure Staffing is seeking 10 experienced Travel Registered Nurses (RNs) for night shift assignments on our Adult Medical/Surgical/Telemetry units. Join a dynamic healthcare team at a leading facility with specialized pediatric and trauma services. This is a great opportunity for RNs with strong acute care backgrounds and experience in high-acuity settings.

Contract Details

• Assignment Duration: June 6, 2025 – September 10, 2025
• Location: Syracuse, NY 13210
• Shifts: Night shift; must be available to work every other weekend
• Holiday Coverage: Required to work 2 out of 3 major seasonal holidays
• Pay: Weekly $2,640 (MI&L included)

Qualifications

• Current New York State RN license
• Current BLS certification (or eligible for recertification)
• Minimum 1.5 years recent (within past 2 years) experience in an acute care facility of comparable size
• Prior Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center experience
• No prior license or certification suspensions, investigations, or professional liability claims
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Must pass pre-employment health screening, drug screening, and criminal background check

Skills and Requirements

• Proficient in starting IVs, drawing blood, and monitoring telemetry
• Experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Records (preferred)
• Excellent clinical judgment and assessment skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• High reliability and schedule flexibility (excessive time off or fixed workday preferences not permitted)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care on adult med/surg/telemetry units with minimal supervision
• Perform accurate patient assessments and implement appropriate nursing interventions
• Manage telemetry monitoring and interpret patient data effectively
• Start IVs and draw labs independently
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care
