Contract Details

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Hematology/Oncology
• Location: Verona, NY 13478
• Contract Duration: June 6, 2025 – September 6, 2025
• Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Start Date: ASAP (Must be available to start on a Friday)
• Pay: Weekly (MI&L included ) $2,600

Qualifications

• Valid and active New York State RN license and registration
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); must be eligible for re-certification
• Minimum of 1.5 years of recent experience (within the past 2 years) in an acute care facility of similar size and scope
• Travel RNs considered only if previously employed at facilities of equal or greater size, or at trauma centers
• No history of professional license or certification suspension, investigation, or involvement in professional liability claims
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance, drug screening, and criminal background check

Skills and Requirements

• Experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Records preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently and compassionately in a fast-paced outpatient environment
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to hematology/oncology patients in an acute care outpatient setting
• Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor for changes in condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate and optimize patient care
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, procedures, and ongoing care needs
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system
• Uphold all clinical protocols, safety standards, and infection control procedures
