Cure Staffing Inc. is seeking experienced RN-Critical Care nurses specializing in Pediatric ICU (PICU) for a temporary assignment at a community hospital.

Contract Details:

• Start Date: April 4, 2025
• End Date: July 30, 2025
• Location: Syracuse, NY 13215
• 17-week contract
• Shifts: Nights – 12 hours
  • Every other weekend required
  • Some holidays required
• Weekly Pay: $2720 (MI&L included)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in the ICU.
• Perform in-depth assessments and respond to subtle changes in patient conditions.
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and monitor life-support equipment.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize EPIC Electronic Medical Records for documentation and care coordination.

Requirements:

• Current New York State RN License.
• BLS Certification (must be able to recertify if needed).
• Minimum of 3 years of recent PICU experience (within the past 2 years) in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center.
• Experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Records preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Additional Requirements:

• Travelers will only be considered if they have experience in hospitals of equal or greater size or trauma centers.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance.
• Clean professional license history (no suspensions or investigations).
• No prior involvement as a defendant in professional liability claims.
• Ability to pass drug screening and criminal background check.
