Job Description:

We are seeking experienced and dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) to join the Ambulatory Department at this Hospital in Syracuse, NY.

Contract Details

• Start Date: June 6, 2025
• End Date: September 7, 2025
• Location: Syracuse, NY
• Shift: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Employment Type: Temporary/Travel RN assignment
• Location: Central Syracuse, New York
• Pay: Weekly $2,600 (MI&L included)

Qualifications

• Valid and current New York State RN license
• Current BLS certification (or ability to recertify before start)
• At least 1.5 years of recent (within the last 2 years) acute care experience in a facility of comparable size
• For travel RNs: Experience in hospitals of equal or greater size or trauma centers
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• No prior license or certification suspensions, investigations, or liability claims

Skills and Requirements

• Experience with EPIC EMR system preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Professionalism and flexibility in a dynamic, fast-paced outpatient environment
• Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance, drug screening, and criminal background check

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and deliver direct patient care with minimal supervision
• Provide ambulatory services with a strong focus on patient safety, efficiency, and satisfaction
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate and optimize patient care
• Accurately document all care activities using EPIC or other electronic medical record systems
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism and adaptability in a busy outpatient setting
