Cure Staffing Inc. is seeking experienced Adult OR-Surgical/Operating Room Techs for a temporary assignment at our 752-bed academic medical center.

Contract Details:

• Start Date: April 4, 2025
• End Date: July 30, 2025
• Location: Syracuse, NY 13210
• 17 week contract
• Shifts: Evening shift
• Flexible scheduling:
  – Straight 8-hour shifts or
  – A mix of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts
• 80 hours biweekly
• Weekly Pay: $2160 (MI&L included)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scrub duties in adult operating room
• Assist in various surgical procedures including orthopedics, general surgery, ENT, vascular, GYN, neurosurgery, trauma, bariatrics, and GU
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and hospital efficiency
• Ensure proper preparation and maintenance of the operating room environment
• Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control procedures

Requirements:

• Current certification as a Surgical/Operating Room Technician
• Minimum 3 years of recent experience (within the last 4 years) in an operating room at a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center, teaching hospital of similar size, or equivalent-sized acute care facility in a specialty area
• Experience in orthopedics, general surgery, ENT, vascular, GYN, neurosurgery, trauma, bariatrics, and GU
• Scrub experience required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to perform general surgical skills in an acute care setting with minimal orientation and supervision

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Level I Trauma Centers
• Familiarity with advanced surgical equipment and procedures

Additional Requirements:

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance
• Clean professional license history (no suspensions or investigations)
• No prior involvement as a defendant in professional liability claims
• Ability to pass drug screening and criminal background check
