Position Overview:

Cure Staffing Inc. is seeking two Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for our Child Adolescent Psychiatric Unit.

Contract Details:

• Start Date: March 28, 2025
• End Date: July 30, 2025
• Location:  Syracuse, NY 13210
• 13 week contract
• Shifts: Days/Evening
  • Every other weekend and some holidays required
• Weekly Pay: $1800 ( MI&L included )

Qualifications:

• Current New York State LPN license
• CPR certification (or ability to obtain/renew)
• Minimum 1 year of experience (inpatient setting preferred)
• Psychiatric experience required; pediatric experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care in an acute psychiatric setting with minimal supervision
• Assist with patient examinations and procedures
• Administer medications and injections as directed
• Monitor and record vital signs and patient progress
• Maintain accurate patient records using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system
• Participate in implementing nursing care plans
• Assist in maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team in patient care
• Contribute to unit management activities
