Job Description

Cure Staffing Inc is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as Clinical Support Staff in an outpatient setting. The LPN will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care, supporting providers during exams and procedures, and ensuring efficient clinical operations. This position requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, providing both direct patient care and essential administrative support.

Contract Details

• • • Location: Syracuse, NY 13210
    • Start Date: June 27, 2025
    • End Date: September 27, 2025
    • Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
    • Setting: Outpatient
    • Immediate Start Needed
    • Pay: $1,800 Weekly (MI&L included)

Qualifications

• • • Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New York State
    • Equivalent credentials such as CMA may be considered
    • Experience in acute or ambulatory care settings preferred

Skills and Requirements

• • • Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
    • Strong patient care skills, including obtaining vital signs and administering injections
    • Ability to assist with clinical procedures (e.g., Pap smears)
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
    • Capable of working independently with minimal orientation or supervision

Duties and Responsibilities

• • • Greet and prepare patients for exams and procedures
    • Assist healthcare providers during routine procedures and exams
    • Obtain and accurately record patient vital signs
    • Set up trays and administer injections as directed
    • Support providers during procedures such as Pap smears
    • Perform administrative tasks: reception, appointment scheduling, chart preparation, and insurance authorization for MRIs, CT scans, physical therapy, and surgeries
    • Coordinate referrals and authorizations with primary care offices
    • Accurately document patient information in EMR
    • Implement nursing care activities under the supervision of a registered nurse
    • Observe, report, and document patient responses to care
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment
    • Participate in unit-based operational and quality improvement activities
