Sexual Health and Tuberculosis Clinic Patient Registration Specialist

Cure Staffing  is seeking a dedicated Patient Registration Specialist to support our Sexual Health and Tuberculosis Chest Clinics in New York City. This role is crucial in promoting sexual and respiratory health while reducing the impact of sexually transmitted infections and tuberculosis in our community.

Position Details

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM (35 hours/week, 1-hour unpaid lunch)
• Location: Various clinic sites
• Pay rate: $21/hr paid weekly via direct deposit on tuesdays

Key Responsibilities

• Register patients and update information in the EMR system
• Answer phone calls, relay messages, and provide test results to patients
• Maintain document filing systems
• Administer Health Screening Assessments and temperature scans
• Collect and process information requests from patients and clients
• Provide administrative support to clinic operations

Required Skills and Experience

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Knowledge of PowerPoint, Outlook, and/or Access
• Typing speed of 40 wpm
• Spanish language fluency preferred

Additional Information

• Potential travel to different clinic locations
• Work under the supervision of a Line Area Manager and Patient Services

This position plays a vital role in our mission to provide direct clinical services, monitor disease trends, partner with community groups, conduct outreach, provide education, and develop policies to improve sexual and respiratory health in New York City.
