Cure Staffing  is seeking temporary Registered Nurses to support our Sexual Health Clinics across Central Harlem and Brooklyn

Job Details

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM (35 hours per week, 1-hour unpaid lunch)
• Location: Various clinic sites across NYC boroughs
• Pay: $60/hr paid weekly on Tuesdays via direct deposit

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct medical interviews, obtaining patient demographics, medical and sexual history, and chief complaints
• Determine patient care needs based on assessments and test results
• Provide patient education on sexual health topics, including STIs, PrEP, PEP, and contraception
• Perform proper specimen collection and labeling
• Administer medications as per protocols and clinician orders

Required Skills and Experience

• Valid New York State Registered Nurse license
• Experience in conducting sensitive medical interviews
• Knowledge of sexual health and STI prevention
• Proficiency in specimen collection and medication administration (PO, TD, IM, SC)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in sexual health clinics or public health settings
• Familiarity with LGBTQ+ healthcare needs
• Knowledge of current sexual health trends and treatments
