## Radiologic Technologist – CT/MRI ##

Location: Syracuse, NY 

Salary: $70.00 / hr 

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist specializing in CT and MRI to join our imaging team at a leading hospital in Syracuse, NY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality radiographic examinations and ensuring patient safety throughout the imaging process.

 Qualifications

– A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology or equivalent

– NYS license/registration required

– Minimum of one year of CT/MRI experience as a radiologic technologist

– Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance

 Key Responsibilities

– Perform radiographic examinations under the direction of departmental radiologists, ensuring adherence to established protocols and procedures

– Greet patients, explain the examination process, and position them appropriately for imaging

– Set proper exposure factors to obtain high-quality radiographs while practicing appropriate radiation safety and protection measures

– Operate various imaging equipment, including CT scanners and MRI machines, efficiently and effectively

– Process films and input information into the Radiology Information System for documentation and billing purposes

– Report any equipment malfunctions to the immediate supervisor and assist with troubleshooting as needed

– Maintain a clean and safe environment in accordance with departmental policies

– Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care based on referring physician and radiologist needs

 Required Skills

– Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to imaging procedures

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients and healthcare team members

– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of patient care

– Attention to detail in documenting patient information and imaging results
