## Occupational Therapist ##

Location: Syracuse, NY

Salary: $45.00 / hr

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our healthcare team at a leading hospital in Syracuse, NY. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality occupational therapy services to help patients improve their ability to perform daily activities and achieve their functional goals.

 Qualifications

– B.S. (or higher) in Occupational Therapy

– NYS licensure or eligible

– 2 years of experience required

– Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance

 Key Responsibilities

– Administer Occupational Therapy as prescribed by a physician

– Determine specific goals for patient treatment through evaluation and consultation with healthcare professionals, patients, and families

– Maintain accurate and timely record keeping and related reports

– Attend designated clinics, rounds, and conferences to provide patient information

– Interact with patient families to provide education and support

– Maintain equipment and supplies

– Participate in educational programs for staff, as needed

 Required Skills

– Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving abilities

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

– Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

– Proficiency in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans

– Knowledge of various therapeutic interventions and adaptive equipment
