Job Description

Cure Staffing, Inc. is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for their client’s Pediatric Float Pool. The CNA will provide direct and indirect patient care for pediatric patients across various units, including Level I Trauma, Certified Burn Center, and specialized ICUs. This role requires adaptability, strong communication, and a patient-centered approach.

Contract Details

• Start Date: 5/30
• End Date: 8/27
• Location: NY 13210
• Shift: Night shift, 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week
• Schedule: Every other weekend required
• Pay: $31/hr paid weekly

Qualifications

• Current New York State CNA certification
• Eligible for CPR certification or recertification
• Minimum one year of patient care experience
• Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance
• Level 1 trauma experience required

• Physical stamina for patient care tasks
• Empathy and patience, especially with pediatric patients

Duties and Responsibilities

• Obtain and record vital signs
• Assist with toileting, bathing, and feeding
• Serve as a safety companion for at-risk patients
• Maintain a safe and clean environment
• Adapt to changing patient needs promptly
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Communicate clearly with patients and team members
• Support patient growth and development
• Engage in ongoing professional development
• Uphold ethical and professional standards
