Job Description
Cure Staffing, Inc. is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for their client’s Pediatric Float Pool. You will provide hands-on care for children in a high-acuity hospital setting, supporting daily activities, monitoring health, and ensuring patient comfort across multiple specialized units.
Contract Details
- Start Date: 5/30
- End Date: 8/27
- Location: NY 13210
- Shift: Night shift, 8 hours, 5 days per week
- Schedule: Every other weekend required
- Pay: $31 / hr paid weekly
Qualifications
- Current New York State CNA certification
- Eligible for CPR certification/recertification
- Minimum one year of patient care experience
- Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance
- Level 1 trauma experience required

Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with hygiene (bathing, dressing, grooming) and feeding
- Obtain and record vital signs; monitor and report changes
- Serve as a safety companion for at-risk patients
- Support medical procedures and prep patients for exams
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control
- Provide emotional support and reassurance to children
- Communicate with families and healthcare team
- Participate in quality improvement and ongoing professional development
- Accurately document and exchange patient information
- Represent the hospital with professionalism and uphold ethical standards
