Job Description

Cure Staffing  is seeking a dedicated and experienced EEG Technician to join our team. As a Registered EEG Technologist, you will perform routine electroencephalograms (EEGs) for patients of all ages in both inpatient and outpatient settings, adhering to ASET standards. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a Level I Trauma Center with specialized units and advanced medical facilities.

Contract Details

• Position: EEG Technician
• Location: Syracuse, NY 13210
• Start Date: June 30, 2025
• End Date: September 28, 2025
• Shift: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
• Schedule: No excessive time off or set weekly schedules permitted
• Pay: $2520 Weekly (ME&I Included ) $2520

Qualifications

• Registered EEG Technologist (REEGT) certification required
• Minimum of one (1) year of EEG experience
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Must pass pre-employment health clearance

• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work with patients across the lifespan, from neonatal to geriatric
• Attention to detail and ability to follow hospital and departmental protocols

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform routine EEGs for both inpatient and outpatient populations, including neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
• Measure and apply electrodes accurately for adult and pediatric patients
• Conduct descriptive analysis and documentation of EEG waveforms and patterns
• Interact with patients and families to ensure comfort and understanding of procedures
• Edit and process 24-hour EEG data for physician review
• Enter raw EEG data into the system and prepare it for interpretation
• Maintain and troubleshoot EEG equipment, restock acquisition stations, and document equipment malfunctions
• Adhere to all hospital and department policies and procedures
