** Echo Technician **

Location: Syracuse, NY

Salary: $67.00 / hr

We are seeking a skilled Echo Technician to join our cardiology team at a leading hospital in Syracuse, NY. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in processing and managing EKG and Holter Monitor test results for patient care.

 Qualifications

– Six months of full-time paid experience in operating an EKG machine within the last three years OR successful completion of a course in EKG machine operation within the last three years

– Experience with medical terminology and EKG rhythms

– Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance

 Key Responsibilities

– Process EKGs for patient care

– Transcribe, edit, and distribute EKGs to patient care areas for inclusion in medical records

– Scan, process, and distribute Holter Monitor test results to Cardiologists for review

– Edit Holter Monitor results for inclusion in patient medical records

– Provide quality control feedback to floors performing EKGs

 Required Skills

– Proficiency in operating EKG machines and related equipment

– Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data processing

– Excellent communication skills for interacting with healthcare professionals

– Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced medical environment

– Knowledge of medical record management and patient confidentiality practices

 Additional Information

– May be required to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
