Community Health Liaison

Cure Staffing, Inc.

Cure Staffing is seeking a Community Health Liaison to support critical tuberculosis (TB) control efforts in collaboration with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Project Overview

This program works closely with the CDC to monitor and evaluate newly arrived immigrants and refugees who require further TB assessment. This role involves:

  • Contacting referred individuals to arrange clinic appointments
  • Providing guidance on scheduling and evaluation processes
  • Reporting evaluation outcomes to the CDC
  • Managing data entry and outreach activities

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct outreach to patients referred by the CDC
  • Schedule and coordinate TB evaluation appointments
  • Enter and manage patient data in departmental systems
  • Liaise between patients, clinics, and the CDC
  • Maintain strict patient confidentiality
  • Provide accurate information and respectful service to patients
  • Collaborate with clinic and office staff

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Strong attention to detail and data management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Commitment to patient confidentiality and respect

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with public health or clinical concepts
  • Multilingual abilities, especially in Spanish, Bengali, or Mandarin
  • Experience in healthcare or public health settings

Position Details

  • Location: LIC IN PERSON
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM (35 hours/week, 1-hour unpaid lunch)
